Applications are invited for the post of Lecturer in Operations Management within the Operations and Supply Chain Management Group at the University of Liverpool Management School. The post-holder is expected to teach undergraduate and postgraduate modules related to Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, and Technology Management, and to supervise postgraduate dissertations. The post-holder may also need to undertake other administrative duties as assigned by the head of the subject group.
Applicants are expected to hold a PhD or be close to completion of a PhD in Operations Management or a relevant discipline, have experience of teaching modules related to Operations management, Supply Chain Management, and Technology Management, as well as supervising student dissertations. In addition, the post-holder should have good communication, IT, and organisational skills, be able to work in a team and adapt to different teaching environments and the changing demands of students.
The appointment will be made on the basis of the University's standard terms and conditions.
The successful candidate will be expected to take up the post on 1st February 2021. This is a fixed-term post until 31st January 2022 working on a 0.8FTE basis.
